Where should I stay?
We recommend booking accommodations as early as possible, as June is a popular time to visit Charleston. Please see 'Travel' page for recommended hotels that are all located downtown within 1-1.5 miles of the wedding venue.
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony begins so you have time to find your seat and settle in. The ceremony start time and full schedule will be listed on your invitation.
Can I bring a plus-one?
We kindly ask that only guests named on your invitation attend. If a plus-one has been included, they will appear on your invitation and RSVP.
Are children invited?
We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of those specifically included on the invitation.
Which airport should I fly into?
Charleston International Airport (CHS) is the main commercial airport serving Charleston. It is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Charleston.
Will any events take place outdoors?
The welcome party, wedding ceremony, and reception will be indoors. The ceremony will be followed by an outdoor courtyard happy hour at 6pm. The remainder of the reception will be held indoors, but the outdoor courtyard bar will remain open throughout the evening.
What should I do in Charleston?
All wedding events will be located in historic downtown Charleston, which is very walkable. Please see 'Things to Do' page for some restaurant and beach recommendations. The Battery, Waterfront Park, Colonial Lake, College of Charleston campus, and Marion Square are some popular sites downtown. Beaches to explore would be Sullivan's Island (easiest drive from downtown), Isle of Palms, or Folly Beach.
Is transportation provided?
No bus transportation will be provided, but Uber and Lyft are widely available, and every event is within about a 2 mile radius.
